ICAM1 (intercellular adhesion molecule 1) was initially identified as a ligand for the β2 integrin lymphocyte function-associated antigen (LFA)-1. It is a glycoprotein with a 90,000-110,000Mr molecular weight, and shows wide range of tissue expression, including tissue macrophages and dendritic cells. It also shows expression on non-hematopoietic cells such as vascular endothelial cells, epithelial cells of thymus and mucosa, and dermal fibroblasts. It is a member of the ICAM family, which also include ICAM-2, -3, -4 and -5.
Recombinant human ICAM-1 is a 49.5 kDa glycoprotein comprising the extracellular domain (453 amino acid residues) of ICAM-1. Monomeric glycosylated ICAM-1 migrates at an apparent molecular weight of approximately 72.0-80.0 kDa by SDS-PAGE analysis under reducing conditions.

生化/生理作用

从10 mM磷酸钠（pH 7.5）中冻干。

制备/使用说明

打开前将小瓶冲洗干净。用水复溶至浓度为0.1 - 1.0 mg/ml。不要涡旋。该溶液可在2 - 8 ° C下储存长达1周。为了延长储存时间，建议在含有载体蛋白（例如0.1% BSA）的缓冲液中进一步稀释，并在-20 °C至-80 °C下以工作等分试样储存。
