Our 1.2 M LiPF₆ in EC/DMC=30/70 (w/w) + 1wt.% VC battery-grade electrolyte solution has been engineered to provide excellent safety, thermal stability, and superior performance for use in lithium-ion batteries. Its formulation of ethylene carbonate (EC), dimethyl carbonate (DMC), and vinylene carbonate (VC) offers high electrochemical stability and low viscosity, while the VC additive contributes to the formation of a solid-electrolyte interface (SEI) that enhances performance and resistance to thermal damage at high operating temperatures. DMC, with its lower viscosity and flammability, sets this electrolyte solution apart from the more commonly used EMC formulation.
